Testing Methodology & Field Execution

Compaction of soil specimen into standard CBR mould at Optimum Moisture Content (OMC).

4-day soaking period to simulate worst-case monsoon saturation (for soaked CBR).

Penetration test on CBR load frame at constant strain rate of 1.25 mm/min.

Calculation of CBR value at 2.5mm and 5.0mm penetration depths.
